Studying conditionsKaiser Wilhelm II, King of Prussia, founded the University of Muenster, then known as the "Westfalen-Wilhelm University". It is one of the largest and most traditional universities in Germany. Established in 1780, the university has experienced many ups and downs, such as losing its university status and obtaining it again in 1902. There are 46,000 students in Muenster university today and over 100 courses of study. Around 5,000 students graduate successfully every year. In addition to a wide spectrum of courses, the university also boasts research facilities. Almost 600 professors and more than 2,000 scientists are working on fundamental as well as applicable projects. These basic principles can also be of great value to young dental students.
