Exchange in Germany - why should I?
Doing apprentice time at a German dental faculty gives you a chance to experience dentistry the way it´s practiced and understood in another country. Our "Dentistry Exchange Service e.V." is working to make it easier for foreign dental students to gain professional experience in German university clinics. Apply to the ZAD head office in Bonn for a two to four-week stay. We will do our best to obtain your place at the university you wish to attend and help you with practical details. Read more about our support programme here.
You need to...
1. have already successfully completed the pre-clinical part of your dentistry course.
2. contact us and request an application form.
3. gather information about the town or city and its university, where you would like to do your practical work.

Precaution - the best protection
In Germany, it is compulsory to have a comprehensive insurance cover when doing practical work stays. In co-operation with "Deutsche Aerzteversicherung" (German Doctor's Insurance), we have a particularly good offer for you, providing complete insurance cover.
